Pitch Wars is the epitome of awesomeness every year. So, when Brenda comes knocking at my inbox to once again don the title of Mentor Ninja, I can never say no. Besides, I am always incredibly honored and humbled to be asked to serve as a mentor in Pitch Wars.
Every year the crop of mentees blows me away. This year I have 84 entries. That's right, eighty-four. WOW! I feel so loved! Last year, I made it a personal goal to give feedback to every write who entered and pitched me. Alas, I found a few in my spam folder months later. Apologies again to that bunch! But, I was able to eventually respond. This year it will be a tall order to respond to everyone, so I can't promise, but I will try my very best.
I accept all bribes of chocolate. ;)
To make the process even more fun--and distract the mentees until selections are made--the mentees put together a linky list of their bios. Mimicking the mentor bios, everyone can now learn more about the participating potential mentees. Love this idea. So, to learn more about this amazing and talented bunch of writers, check out the linky list here.
